Pentecost 2020

Can you identify the different ways that the Holy Spirit was present at Pentecost?

The Holy Spirit looked like little flames on their heads and it came as wind. They started speaking different languages, they also became empowered with the Holy Spirit so then they went out and spoke boldly about Jesus and God.

Attack Of The ANZAC And The Allies

juhhhhhjhnuWe are learning to find information from a range of sources about ANZAC.
https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1J3oBz6tx42Bg1k2wRahE-69zu_Eo2Hi43Ta2pYDYEkI/edit .
I was surprised that people said they were going on an adventure but it turned out to be war!
I got the imfromation from youtube documentrys. I also read about it on Newshub and RNZ news.A question I could ask is... Did any of your family members go to war Including Great Grandparent and Grandparents?

In Flanders Fields- poppy poem | Poppies poem, Flanders field ...five facts
  1.  1916 the first Anzac Day to remmeber were held on 25 April. The day was marked by a wide variety of ceremonies and services across Australia, a march through London, and an camp in Egypt.

2.The date 25 April was officially named Anzac Day in 1916;In New Zealand it was made as a half-day holiday. Over 2,000 people attended the service in Rotorua.

      3. By the time the campaign ended, more than 130,000 men had died: at least 87,000 Ottoman soldiers and 44,000 Allied soldiers, including more than 8700 Australians. Among the dead were 2779 New Zealanders, about a sixth of all those who had landed on the peninsula

Super Stars

We are learning to try our best.
If I were to have 3 super powers they would be, invisibility  because I could be unnoticed anywhere at anytime. Also I would chose teleport as I could go any where I want and last one would be talking to animals so I can understand them and they can understand me.
It was hard deciding what super powers to do ,but over all it was fun to think about it. I got the information from the holiday program blogpost form.
If you were to have 3 super powers what would they be?

Be Brave

We are learning to be brave.
A time when something was scary for me was when I was climbing at clip and climb and I was climbing with no harness on!
It is really scary things happen but you need to deal with it and get over it.
I watched a video of a aeroplane landing in the Hudson river in New York City.
When was a time when something was scary for you?

Charities

We are learning to help charities.
The charities we support are Project Moroto, SPCA and World Vision.
Project Moroto is an orphanage for girls who don´t have a mum or dad in Uganda. Find out more information at http://projectmoroto.com/
SPCA - I have been part of the money collection at Fresh choice.
World Vision - Our family supports a boy called Joel who is 10years old.
We support these organisations with money and praying for them.
It is easy to support charities in New Zealand as we have so much to give.  I would like to support more charities to help people in the future.
I got the information from mum and dad, church and research for the SPCA.
How many charities do you support?

Sailing

We are learning to think of 10 food options to bring on a 3 week trip at sea.
If I were on a sailing trip for 3 weeks, 10 essential food items I would take would be...
bread,chocolate hazel nut spread,apples,kiwifruit, nutrigrain, Weet-bix, juice,
I found it really easy to choose the food, but I found it was kind of sad when I couldn´t bring some stuff i  like such as the milk for my Weet-bix and nutrigrain.
I thought of the stuff that I could bring on the trip.
What 10 food items would you bring?

The Hidden Temple

We are learning to write with a purpose.
I did a doc about The Hidden Temple.
It was really hard but I eventually finished it.
Popple helped me out with my sentence starter.
I wonder what the first thing the travels do when they get home?
